Golden Turmeric Latte

Makes 2 cups

  • 1¼ c. (300 mL) almond milk 
  • 1 c. (240 mL) filtered water 
  • 2 tsp. ground turmeric 
  • ½ tsp. ground ginger 
  • ½ tsp. coconut oil 
  • 2 tsp. maple syrup
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • ½ tsp. ground Saigon cinnamon 
  • Pinch of pepper 

Pour the almond milk and water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the turmeric, ginger, coconut oil and agave. Combine with a whisk. Add the cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and peppercorns. Boil for 10 minutes. Remove the cardamom pods and serve.

Tip: For an extra immune system boost, you can add two drops of Immu-ton Supremewith echinacea, traditionally used in phytotherapy to treat sore throats and upper respiratory tract infections.
