Makes 2 cups
- 1¼ c. (300 mL) almond milk
- 1 c. (240 mL) filtered water
- 2 tsp. ground turmeric
- ½ tsp. ground ginger
- ½ tsp. coconut oil
- 2 tsp. maple syrup
- 2 cardamom pods
- ½ tsp. ground Saigon cinnamon
- Pinch of pepper
Pour the almond milk and water into a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Add the turmeric, ginger, coconut oil and agave. Combine with a whisk. Add the cardamom pods, cinnamon sticks and peppercorns. Boil for 10 minutes. Remove the cardamom pods and serve.
